All work is collaborative.  Diversity can be an asset to collaboration

or a huge hindrance.

Bringing people together effectively is very similar to the process

of integrating new apps or software into a system. 



Typical diversity training doesn’t work.   Traditional diversity training

is built on the belief that one group needs to be corrected

and others need to be helped.  These are extremely flawed notions

and do not create an environment conducive to collaboration.

Context, unwritten rules,  and understanding varying cultural ways to approach problem-solving are the most powerful tools to support effect collaboration.
